Know what your visit includes

Care that matches your water heater.

We check your equipment, perform the included maintenance where conditions allow, and explain any concerns we find.

Tank-style maintenance

  • Drain and flush an accessible, serviceable tank-style water heater.
  • Inspect for visible leaks, corrosion, deterioration and other concerns.
  • Inspect accessible water connections and the temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve.
  • Visually inspect accessible gas connections and venting on gas-fired units.
  • Recommend maintenance or repairs for concerns identified during service.

Drain and flush service depends on the condition and accessibility of the existing drain valve and plumbing connections.

Tankless maintenance

  • Descale the heat exchanger when service valves are installed, accessible and serviceable.
  • Inspect for visible leaks, corrosion, deterioration and other concerns.
  • Inspect accessible water and gas connections.
  • Visually inspect accessible venting and combustion-air piping.
  • Inspect the igniter and flame sensor.
  • Recommend maintenance or repairs for concerns identified during service.

Descaling requires properly installed, accessible and serviceable isolation/service valves. Installing these valves is not included.

Additional repairs and replacement parts are not included in the annual maintenance price. If needed, we’ll recommend them during your service visit. Learn more about our water heater repair and tankless water heater repair services.

A look at the bigger picture

Your water heater gets care.
Your home’s plumbing gets a check.

During annual maintenance, we also inspect key plumbing components throughout your home, within accessible and serviceable areas.

What’s the difference between the two plans?
The tank-style plan is $250 per year plus tax and includes a qualifying tank drain and flush. The tankless plan is $350 per year plus tax and includes heat exchanger descaling when service valves are properly installed, accessible and serviceable. Both include one annual visit, a plumbing system inspection and the same member benefits, subject to exclusions.
Can I add another water heater?
Yes. Additional qualifying tank-style units are $99.96 per year each; additional qualifying tankless units are $199.92 per year each. Discounted maintenance pricing applies only when those units are serviced during the same scheduled visit. All units must be at the same service address or on the same property parcel.
Are repairs and replacement parts included?
No. Additional repairs, replacement parts, modifications and installation work are not included in the annual maintenance price. We’ll recommend any additional work needed during service. Members receive 10% off qualifying plumbing repairs, up to $500 in savings per project, subject to the plan’s exclusions.
Does my membership continue each year?
The plan continues until canceled and includes one scheduled visit per year. Contact Pike to review enrollment and cancellation details. If an annual price adjustment is made, it is limited to a maximum of 2% of the previous year’s plan price. An increase is not required or guaranteed each year.
Can I combine the plan discount with a promotion?
No. Plan discounts cannot be combined with other offers. Related work that is part of the same overall project also cannot be split into multiple jobs or visits to obtain additional repair discounts.
Is drain cleaning included in the plan discount?
No. Drain cleaning—including snaking, cabling, clogs and hydrojetting—is excluded from the plan discounts. The water heater maintenance drain-and-flush service for qualifying tank-style units is a separate included plan service.
The details, in plain sight

Plan terms & exclusions

Please review these details before enrolling. Our team can help confirm which services and equipment qualify.

Membership & repair savings

Plans include one visit per year and continue until canceled. Members receive 10% off qualifying plumbing repairs, up to a maximum savings of $500 per project. Related work performed as part of the same overall project cannot be separated into multiple jobs or visits to receive additional discounts.

Discount exclusions

Discounts cannot be combined with other offers and do not apply to permits, permit/code inspections, major subcontracted work, drain cleaning (snaking, cabling, clogs, hydrojetting, etc.) or other excluded services. The 10% diagnostic discount does include eligible camera inspections, necessary access for diagnosis (excluding demolition), removal of fixtures or components for diagnosis, and specialized testing.

Water heater eligibility

Maintenance applies to qualifying units that are accessible and serviceable. Tank-style drain and flush service depends on the condition and accessibility of the existing drain valve and plumbing connections. Tankless descaling depends on properly installed, accessible and serviceable isolation/service valves.

Additional work & additional units

Repairs, replacement parts, modifications and installation work—including tankless service-valve installation—are not included in the annual maintenance price and will be recommended when needed. Discounted maintenance for additional heaters requires the same scheduled visit and the same service address or property parcel.

Inspection access & warranty

Crawlspace inspections are limited to safely accessible and reasonably visible areas. We do not enter unsafe, restricted, obstructed, contaminated or otherwise inaccessible areas. The 1-year workmanship warranty applies to qualifying repairs and is subject to Pike Plumbing & Sewer’s applicable warranty terms and exclusions.

Annual pricing adjustment

Service plan pricing may be adjusted annually by no more than 2% of the previous year’s plan price. An adjustment may help offset increases in labor, wages and benefits, materials and supplies, fuel, insurance, equipment, licensing and other operating expenses. Pike Plumbing & Sewer may make this adjustment as needed; an increase is not required or guaranteed each year. Our goal is consistent, predictable pricing while continuing the professional service and workmanship included with your plan.
